Fighting Early Signs of Aging

Millions are spent each year on miracle cures and other remedies to stop wrinkles from appearing on the face. And it seems like every day there is a new product that guarantees to prevent the signs of aging and restore youth and vitality. These products might cost a few dollars to thousands for a treatment. What if there were a natural way to stop wrinkles. One that was almost flawless and low cost? Would you try it?

Purchasing the best skin care products one can afford is all well and good but consider taking a few precautions that might protect the skin. Here are a few suggestions.

Avoid Direct Sunlight
This is bad news for all sunbathers. The sun is the number one cause of skin
wrinkles and advanced aging in many people. The best thing anyone can do for their skin to keep it young and vital is to avoid direct sun exposure. Always use a sun screen with at least SPF 15. As many already know the higher the SPF the stronger the sunscreen protection. Apply the sunscreen to all exposed skin. And wear a large brimmed sun hat and sun glasses for extra protection.

Certain foods provide anti oxidant protection. Anti oxidants fight free radicals which cause damage to cells leading to aging in the body. Certain fruits like strawberries, apples, oranges, grapes, boost the bodies
anti oxidant protection.

Water plumps up the skin cells and keeps skin moist and healthy. Slows the aging process. Researchers find most people barely drink enough water to fight off dehydration during the summer. And once you feel thirsty you are probably already dehydrated. The average person needs about 8 glasses of water a day to stay hydrated.

Home Made Skin Creams
Some women often wonder what is the best wrinkle cream to use. Well, the best wrinkle cream is the one that is made with natural ingredients by you at home! Why? You have complete control over what goes in the cream. And you are aware of exactly what is in the formula. Here is a home made wrinkle cream recipe. Most of the ingredients are easily found at local health food stores or on the Internet.

1 oz lanolin
3 oz Vita E Oil
2 drops rose oil

Combine ingredients in a boiler over a low flame on the stove. Let ingredients
simmer slowly until the lanolin and others are melted. When melted remove from the heat and pour the mixture into a bowl and whip until cooled.

Pour the wrinkle cream ingredients into a jar and cap. Store in a cool place. Use the wrinkle cram on face each night. Rub onto the skin and neck area to get the natural wrinkle reducing effects.

The fact is most of us can easily fight early signs of aging by following a few simple suggestions like the ones outlined in this article. Limit sunlight exposure, wear sunscreens, consume more foods with anti oxidant
fighting properties, drink more water, use natural moisturizing skin cream.
