SciFi/Fantasy Movies Newsletter

Guest Author - Gillian Buchanan

There are many, many science fiction and fantasy genre movies, some of which go right back to the silent era! One of Meliere's first films was of a trip to the moon, and Buster Keaton even rode on a dinosaur in his very funny film The Three Ages. It's such a terrific area to enjoy and watch, and there are always more entertaining things to see.

Yes, Star Wars, Star Trek and The Lord of the Rings can be included but did you know that there are two Classic Dr Who movies which were made in the 1960s?

I look forward to sharing information about science fiction and fantasy movies, some of which may have been adapted from books and some which may not. Some will be aimed at children, but the whole family will enjoy these as well. There are treasures to unearth and both new and old films to find. You may even receive Youtube links where these are relevant!

Film memorabilia and special areas to visit are also important, and I will certainly write about anything I know in relation to these.

The Science Fiction and Fantasy Movies web site will concentrate on films and articles surrounding them, discussing the actors and acctresses and the characters they play in the films. You will find a section containing games and quizzes, and we may even run the occasional sweepstake! Do let me know if there is anything you would particularly like me to cover input from my readers is so much valued.

I do hope you enjoy receiving my Newsletters. There are subscribe boxes on every page on BellaOnline, and we do not ever send you spam.

I hope you will feel able to try our Newsletters and will enjoy the articles produced for the web site.
