d.light Solar Powered Lanterns Light the World
As I write, there are families on the other side of the world sitting in what may look to us like a temporary camping structure reading or cooking by the light of a little lamp called the d.light. If it’s possible to fall in love with a product this would be the object of my product affection.

What in the world is a d.light? Let me introduce you: solar powered lamp meet the business owners, leaders and game changers of our nation. Perhaps this introduction will create long lasting relationships where you as I have, become an advocate of the d.light and the positive impact it’s having on the world.

The d.light has already provided millions of people in third world countries with solar lighting. People who previously risked their lives as they cooked, worked or read by the flickering flame of a kerosene lamp now have safe lighting via a d.light lantern. This lantern gives no risk of getting burned or catching fire to people or things and is cost effective for those who need light.

I have a dream to see a d.light or two in every home and business in America because it just makes sense. I wish I could say my dream is original but it isn’t. I’m just mooching on the dream of the d.light Founder Sam Goldman, when someone has a great dream why not help them move it forward? Anyway, these impressive d.lights are making a big impact in countries who have limited electricity. They are also being used in places of natural disasters like Japan and other places that have experienced devastation.

Unlike other countries, we may not depend on kerosene to light our homes however; we have all seen what can happen when a power grid suddenly shuts down. We sit in the dark with flash lights, candles or maybe another type of lighting. As business owners you have to think about more than just your business. If you have employees you have to think about how you can provide for them in the case of emergency. The same is true for your family or the schools that your children attend. It’s becoming very evident that we all have to take a bit of responsibility when it comes to being prepared for emergencies. That’s why as business owners, I want us to lead the way in starting the conversation of d.light in our communities.

While Sam Goldman and the rest of the team at d.light are taking care of the nations at large; small and larger business owners can do our part by taking care of the home front. If you have a business and sell products consider selling this product. It’s available at Amazon.com. You may have a store front or a company magazine; consider adding this solar lantern to your offerings. I don’t know how all of that works but I’m sure they’ll help you. I don’t belong to, have a financial investment in, nor am I an affiliate of d.light. I’m simply a business owner that believes in the mission of helping others while doing business; and I understand that it takes others believing in ideas in order for them to have the greatest impact.
