From Business Owner to Business Hero
It’s extraordinary how far belief can take you. Belief can take you to the place of helping so many people that you will feel like you’re living a dream and in some cases you will be living a dream.
Belief plus the question: How can I help you will explode your message, culture and company vision. Who do you want to be in the business world? How can I help you?
We are all called to be heroes for someone and something. I have no doubt that you are a hero to someone. How are you doing at it? How are you helping them?
Are you a hero at serving the best piping hot six cheese macaroni and cheese? Are you a hero at having the best day care in your city? Are you a hero at dog washing, or dress selling, or jewelry making, or website building, or song writing or music producing?
Sometimes we are too afraid to admit that we are heroes because we were taught to be and think like an unhero. Well times have changed.
It’s time to take off your Clark Kent disguises and let your hero suit show.
You have to do this because people are starting to believe that heroes don’t exist anymore and that’s just wrong.
You’re a hero and you exist. The person who bakes the best dang cupcakes with all natural ingredients is a hero. The dry cleaner that stays open for an hour because she knows her customer is stuck in traffic, is a hero.
Is it time for you to own your inner hero? Your business deserves hero status. Hero status is available to everyone because everyone is extraordinary.
If you think you are ordinary you’ve been lied to and I can prove it. Who else has your finger prints; the exact ones that you have? NO ONE. Who else has your eyes, lips, hands? You get it…no one. That makes you a one of a kind creation which means you’re extraordinary, amazing and unique. Heroes change the world, heroes inspire, heroes make us laugh and cause us to believe in great things. Is there a hero out there who can help us bring back the joy of play or the joy of building our first model car, train or plane? Are you the hero of girl’s night out for cancer survivors?
Heroes exist and you are one of them. The world needs your voice and your message. You may not wear a cape or fly through the sky with the speed of a bullet; that’s not necessary.
Here’s what business heroes do:
-Inspire through their excellence and passion.
-Treat their customers like gold and never take them for granted.
-Create ways to give better service and listen to customer concerns.
-Move beyond the four walls of their business into the world around them to make a difference.
-Create promotions and partnerships that make a lot of people happy.
-Look past limits and create new opportunities.
-Have a what about “them” instead of “what about me” attitude.
-Hold the ladder so someone else can grab the star.
It’s important to be extraordinary. This will set you apart from the crowd and set you up for incredible success. Are you a business hero? Go ahead toot your horn, tell your story. We'd like to hear it.
