Utilizing Pain and Negativity

Utilizing Pain and Negativity
Pain, something we might normally like to try and numb or feel a certain level of self-consciousness going through, carries with it a remarkable “DNA” in terms of finding happiness!

When a person comes to me for a reading, a wheel of vast emotional and whirring images begins. Slowly, a more interpretable pace taking form, much like a roulette wheel nearing its final resting place. Little by little a Doppler-like projection emerges with patches or “fronts” of influences effecting a person‘s life.

Pain and negativity.

Unlike the weather, there’s an amount of our control we have affecting these often misunderstood cycles. But more often than not we end up extending or making them worse by resisting them with fury, pooling them as far away from ourselves and the public eye as humanly possible. As I would explain during any consultation, the truth is, we’d be lost without it!

Imagine anxiously waiting an adventurous vacation. Over the weeks, maybe even years, and putting a great deal of thought, anticipating what you’ll need to bring along in your suitcases and boarding your flight, once you arrive at your destination, surprise, it’s explained for this particular adventure, you must leave everything you packed behind. Now…”Off you go!”

Life is our great adventure. Our collection along the way, people, things, etc. is our “baggage.” But what this trip offers the latter does not, is a compass, pain!

Why we need to embrace our pain instead of withdrawing from it and the world around us is because not only do we miss opportunities waiting just around the corner, but we need to figure out which direction a particular discomfort is coming from.

Is our pain pushing us towards something we’re resisting that might in fact be good for us? Or, is it telling us something is very, very wrong with something or someone influencing our life that we’re not the most excited to see?

In this realm we live, filled with such catalytic oppositions, it‘s easy enough to see how there can be oversight when it comes to pain. Still, there are things that only pain will every be able to teach us, pulling out from some of our darkest corners, just what it is we‘re capable of.

If that doesn’t convince you, in hind-sight and with so many brushes with pain over the course of a life time, could we agree that it really wasn’t until the end our departure from it, we ended up not needing half of what we thought and in fact ended up functioning so much better without it!
