New Ipad tops 3 Million in Three Days
We can’t take what’s happening with the Ipad and its astronomical sales as a sign that the economy is getting better, but we can be encouraged that innovation and progressive change is happening and we are moving forward.

That’s good for every business owner.

As entrepreneurs and business owners you can take a few clues to what people want and design products or services to meet their needs or in some cases their desires. What can we learn from the Ipad new and old?

Certainly it has been confirmed that we like our devices small, powerful and portable. The last time I traveled for business, I was delighted that I didn’t have to bring my laptop along because my Ipad had everything that I needed for the trip. That meant I moved through the security check out faster, I didn’t have to carry a big laptop bag along with my carry on. My Ipad fits in my purse. The Ipad also contains everything from my presentation to the various books that I’m reading at the moment. And best of all it lets me stay connected to family, friends and important news that I want to stay current on.

What can you offer your customers as you look at the growing popularity of the
Ipad and other tablets?

Read on the Plane Material

Do you have an eBook for your company? Is it something interesting, informative and engaging? If not why not create one, send it out to your clients and call it: Reading Material for Your Travels. This will prompt your customer to download it on to their device and guess what? When they’re sitting in an airport they’re going to remember that you sent them really good reading material (hint: make it really good).

Learning from the Ipad, you’ve given them something small, powerful and portable.

The success of the Ipad is a win for all of us. Study the features, benefits and even the complaints then sit down and create something new. Have you ever thought of starting a podcast? This is the perfect time to get out there and start chatting about what you know.

What can you create that three million people want to have? Great question huh? I think you have something just as attractive to the right audience. You don’t have to reinvent the creativity wheel when it comes to ideas and inspiration. Look around you at what’s working and think about how you can use a similar approach to your products and services.
