Father’s in a Daughter’s Life

Father’s in a Daughter’s Life
Daughter’s need their dad’s too. Father’s are an important part of a girl’s life. Let me show you the importance of father’s in a girl’s life and how to build on the bond.

Father’s are just one of the keys to strengthening a girl’s self-esteem. We all know that girl’s tend to date or marry men like their father. But do you know that a girl’s father is her first love? Check out tips to strengthen your relationship with your daughter and develop a bond that will last a lifetime.

The clear rule is that girl’s receive compliments differently from their father’s. Therefore fathers should complement their daughter’s daily. You should make a habit of taking notice of her attire or hair. Offer to assist with getting her hair together even the accessories.

Treat your daughter and her mother with the utmost respect. You should treat your daughter the way you would want someone else to treat her. Let her see that the way you treat her mother is the way she should be treated in a relationship.

Teach her things that are unexpected. Take her fishing or hiking. Teach her how to throw a baseball, or football. Take long walks. Build something together. Encourage getting to know the outdoors by going camping and exploring.

Get involved with her activities - attend her sporting event or recital. Take up a hobby together and stick to it. Encourage healthy living with exercise and eating habits. Work out weekly and eat healthy daily. Get outside and do something daily.

Dad’s keep in mind that girl’s learn from everyday life activity. How they are treated at home is how they will grow to understand how people in general are treated.

She will learn that girls and women should be treated with respect. She will know that she is beautiful because she heard it first from her father. She will come to understand that respecting others is what everyone should do. She will also learn to love unconditionally because her father loved her that way. She will not fear things that most girl’s fear because her father encouraged her to explore. My favorite – she will make a difference in people because her father made a difference in her.

Dad if you follow the tips mentioned above you will not only strengthen your relationship with your daughter. But you will have a bond that will be the envy of all dads’. Cherish the memories because they grow up fast. For those caregivers that are both mother and father - I take my hat off to you.

The last message dad - be her biggest fan and her best cheerleader.
