Parsley
The feathery bright green parsley is very easy to identify. The leaf, root, and fruit of the parsley were commonly used in folk medicine to treat a variety of health related concerns. Bright green parsley grows best in tropical regions and is frequently found in Europe and the Mediterranean region. In fact, many European, Mediterranean and Asian dishes are flavored with parsley. Parsley is a great source for a number of important nutrients which include anti-oxidants, folic acid, vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin K. Parsley is thought to treat digestion and reduce gas. Some studies report the herb stimulates menstrual flow.

Passion Flower
Passion flower is a climbing vine that has a well-known reputation in folk medicine. Passion flower extract is thought to have a very calming and sedative effect on the body. Today, it is used in various medicines to treat seizures, anxiety, nervousness, and narcotic withdrawal symptoms. The extract is also a treatment for skin burns, pain, and swelling.

Peppermint
Peppermint is a very popular herb used to flavor food and drinks. Peppermint is actually a very strong stimulant and is thought to treat an upset stomach, heartburn, nausea, and congestion due to colds or the flu. Suffering with insomnia? Prepare a soothing mixture of peppermint tea and consume before bedtime.

Plantain Leaf
Plantain leaf is an anti-toxic and anti-inflammatory herb. The herb is also thought to stimulate the healing process and stop bleeding. Holistic healers also found that the herb is a good alternative treatment for bronchitis, skin disorders, coughs, hemorrhoids, insect bites, bee stings, sore throat, and wounds.

Pomegranate
Pomegranate is a popular herb that is packed with anti-oxidants. Pomegranate is available in natural form, teas, popular drinks.
