Ocean Dream Symbol
Consider the qualities of the ocean: Its salt content gives the ocean an antibiotic quality and increases buoyancy of objects, lessening the effects of gravity. It is always moving, moving, moving as it is subject to the pushing and pulling of the moon that creates the tides. The sun heats air and ocean, causing currents in both.
The ocean is filled with life. Indeed, it is another world unto itself. When the ocean appears in your dreams, what could it symbolize? Because of its fluidity, water and the ocean often reflect one's emotional life. Many changeable states of being.
Also, while land or earth can represent the physical body or the material world, the ocean can represent spirituality.
