Spinach Salad

Spinach Salad
1 lb. bag spinach 1/4 tsp. salt
1/3 c. bacon bits 1/3 c. red wine vinegar
1/2 c. salad oil 2 hard boiled eggs
1 clove garlic, peeled & slivered
1 med. onion, sliced & separated into rings
dash of pepper

Wash spinach and remove stems. Dry leaves and tear into bite-sized pieces. Refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight. Let garlic stand in oil at least 1 hour, remove garlic.
Just before serving mix oil, vinegar, salt and pepper in large salad bowl. Lightly toss spinach in dressing. Sprinkle sliced eggs, bacon bits and onion rings over greens and toss lightly. Serves 6 - 8.
