There's something about partying at the Palms Casino in Las Vegas that brings out the matrimonial instincts in celebrities [ie: Britney Spears]...and heiress Nicky Hilton fell victim this weekend. While in town with older sister Paris, for a party thrown by Stuff magazine, Nicky, 20, decided to marry her long-time boyfriend Todd Meister, 33.
The wedding took place Saturday at 2:30 a.m., at the Vegas Wedding Chapel. According to Access Hollywood, which broke the story, sister Paris was in attendance, as were celebrity guests Nicole Ritchie, Bijou Phillips and NSync's Lance Bass.The wedding came as a complete shock to most, as Nikki was quoted in the April 12 issue of People Magazine saying, "I have no boyfriend right now." However, sources say the couple has been together since 2003, but with Paris' public relationships, Nicky wanted to keep hers private.
Other than a few stabs at acting, and designing a handbag line with Paris, Nicky tended overall to keep a lower profile than her sibling.
There's no word yet on what prompted the quickie marriage or of honeymoon plans for the couple.
