Detailing and Polishing your Interior

Detailing and Polishing your Interior
The other day, I was leaving the grocery store and spotted one of the cleanest cars (including mine) in the parking lot. It was a black GMC Jimmy with "the kit". Even the tires and rims were just beaming! I was obviously impressed! (I thought to myself, "Now that's how a car SHOULD look! I sauntered over gave my approval as I approached and thought "wow"! I had to check out the cockpit! I was again impressed by all the gadgets, buttons...let's just say "options". I thought I'd take one last ogle before I returned to my car when upon further inspection, I noticed the floor of this beauty was littered with I would call trash! Papers, cups, bags and what have you! By the way, I have seen worse (with food)!!!

I must tell you that your interior has just as much importance as your exterior. I clean and polish my car's interior every weekend. It doesn't take very much time either. First, I vacuum my seats, floors and door panels. Then I use Armor All generously on my dashboard--I do not have a garage and the sun can/will damage your interior. Then, I spray Oxi Clean on my fabrics and carpet. I agitate the heavy areas and vacuum again. Finally, I wipe down my plastic and rubber with Armor All Wipes. I'm usually finished within an hour. Note: There WILL be places you can't reach (in betweeen the seats and consoles) I just take a paint brush and gently swab those areas and wipe dry. I freshen my car with ordinary liquid fresheners...My "fave" is anything in a berry scent!
