Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas is the third part of the GTA3 trilogy. Where GTA3 was about a "New York" and Vice City was about a "Miami", San Andreas is set in fictional "California in the early 90s.

The new map is MUCH bigger than any previous game and includes fictional versions of Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Francisco and much more. Where previous versions involved a white male main character, San Andreas is one of the first games ever to feature a black main character, Carl Johnson. In addition, you can customize your character to suit your whim - not quite as much as most MMORPGs let you, but it's still better than nothing.

The graphics have been kicked up a notch, with fog and other effects. The game now lets you do "gang drive-bys" where you and your crew all shoot out of the car as you roll down the street. You can swim and ride bikes, too!
