Okay, I just received this notice in my email. So, I decided that I needed to let everyone know right away so those that are going to be in Southern California can take advantage of this offer to view a live taping. I know that this is not part of my October Halloween theme but you have to act quickly to get the tickets.

The show that is being taped is American Gladiators hosted by Hulk Hogan. It is suppose to be an updated version more in sync with the 21st century than the older version. The tickets are free you just have to order them from this website: http://tvtix.com/show.php?eventID=430&scheduleID=13822.

For those of you who are not familiar with the show American Gladiators, the show is a reality show that pits men and women against each other as they test their skills as they try and win the title of “American Gladiator.”

The show will be taped at the Sony Studios in Culver City, CA. The exact address can be found at the website listed above.

There is a minimum age requirement of 9. They set a minimum age requirement so they do not have to deal with younger children’s shorter attention spans and any possible problems that may develop due to having younger children in the audience. This also makes sure that the children who are attending the taping are old enough to be able to handle the content of the show. Being an audience member during a live taping can also be tedious as well as an exciting time. You will need to decide as the parent if this is something that you want your child to attend and if your child can handle what they will be exposed to.

Make sure that you talk with the younger children that are around 9 and make sure that they understand what they will be doing and what they can expect while attending a live taping. Remember, the more prepared your child is for a new experience the easier and less stressful that experience will be for everyone involved.

The scheduled dates for taping are Wednesday November 28, Thursday November 29, and Friday November 30. The tapings are currently scheduled for 9:00am and 3:00pm all three days.

Please note that the studio does reserve the right to change the dates and times of any scheduled tapings.

You will have to be able to confirm and print out your tickets, only those people with a printed ticket will be admitted into the studio on the day of taping. All the information that you need to be aware of is on their website.

You must confirm your tickets so that your name is not erased from their database and your tickets given to someone else. A full energetic audience is an integral part of a live taping!
