UFO Hunters

UFO Hunters

I do hope you got to see this interesting series premiere. There was another show broadcast on February 6th, but I had cataract surgery that day and missed the show due to – pain!

My eye is getting better though and the History Channel has graciously sponsored another sweepstakes celebrating this new show.

The History Channel - UFO HUNTERS - Wednesdays 10p/9c

UFO HUNTERS™, the new series on The History Channel, follows a group of experts as they subject some of history’s most intriguing UFO accounts, and the evidence surrounding them, to exhaustive scrutiny in an effort to uncover the actual facts.

Have you had an encounter or seen a UFO? Click to experience the UFO HUNTERS SIGHTINGS MAP powered by Google Map Technology.

Welcome this new show with this new sweepstakes sponsored by the History Channel where 2 Winners Will Receive:
UFO HUNTERS Light Up Frisbee
UFO HUNTERS Flashlight
History Tote Bag
History iPod Speaker Case
History Journal Notebook

From ancient times, man (and woman) has wondered if we are alone in the universe. History is replete with strange carvings and representations of possible extra-terrestrials.

UFO Hunters Bill Birnes, Pat Uskert (both from UFO Magazine), Dr. Ted Acworth (MIT, a mechanical engineer and researcher who previously worked for NASA), and Jeff Tomlinson (scientific intern) sift through facts and fantasy when investigating these sightings.

In this series, the team travels to the sites of well-known UFO incidents to explore each event and uncover what really happened. Using history as well as any available videotapes, audiotapes, witness interviews, and files newly opened under the Freedom of Information Act, then go on location and to the lab to interview, re-construct the events, and investigate. Their journeys take them across North America and Europe in search of the truth about these UFO sightings. Seems a no-brainer that this is a Do-Not-Miss.

Sweeptakes Information: Please click through to THIS PAGE and fill out the entry form. You may enter daily (per person) until February 29th. It is open to US and Canadian residents 13 and older. The winner will be selected on March 1st and address information sent directly to the History Channel who will be sending out the prizes – so make sure you use a VALID ADDRESS! After the winners are chosen, they MUST respond to the winning email notification that I will send out – or I will select another winner.

Btw, the prizes have been sent out to the winners of the last History Channel sweepstakes celebrating the new show, Life Without People. GP winner was Stephanie Hutton of FL and 1st Prize winner was Nancy Jachcik of MI.

Good luck all!
