Natural Body Scrub Recipes

One way to make certain that the main ingredients are pure and natural is to make your own Natural Body Scrubs from scratch. Make the Natural Body Scrubs with pure, organic, and natural fruits, oils, or vegetables. Many of the products required are found in your kitchen cupboards or the refrigerator. If not, take a trek to the local health food store to buy the ingredients. Here are a few Natural Body Scrub recipes to enjoy and beautify your skin.

Sweet Sugar Scrub

Sugar is used in cooking recipes’ and creating a one of a kind home made body scrubs. Use the following recipe to soften dry skin.

Body Scrub Ingredients

1 Cup of Sugar
˝ Cup Olive Oil
1 Tablespoon Aloe Vera Gel
Vitamin C Crystals
Essential Oil (six drops )

Add all the ingredients to a medium size bowl and mix well. Use your hands to massage the mixture over your entire body for several minutes. Let the mixture rest on your skin for about five minutes. Then get into the shower and rinse off the body. Skin should feel silky soft and smooth.

Brown Sugar Scrub

Here is another variation on the sugar scrub. This scrub is very effective at removing dead skin cells and reviving dry skin.

Body Scrub Ingredients

1 Cup Brown Sugar
˝ Cup Olive Oil
˝ Teaspoon Vitamin E Oil
6 Drops Favorite Essential Oil

Mix all the ingredients in a medium size bowl with a large spoon. Take the mixture and immediately apply to body. Massage over hands, arms, legs, entire body in a firm circular motion. Rinse well under cool running water in the shower.

Coffee Scrub

Coffee is a great power drink enjoyed by many because of the caffeine factor. Coffee also is a remarkable exfoliating body scrub that smooths skin and reduces the appearance of cellulite. This is also due to the caffeine in a regular cup of coffee. Who knew that coffee and caffeine were an excellent beauty treatment? Here is the recipe for a coffee body scrub.

Body Scrub Ingredients

1 Cup of Coffee Grounds
˝ Cup of Sugar
Your Favorite Massage Oil (Sweet Almond, Olive, Vitamin E)
Few Drops of Favorite Essential Oil

Mix ingredients together in a medium size bowl. Use the mixture immediately on the body. Massage in well by simply using your fingertips. Use a scrub brush if you prefer. Afterwards take a brisk shower or soak and relax in the tub. Rinse all the body scrub off the skin to reveal the smooth skin underneath. This recipe is thought to reduce appearance cellulite on the body, burn fat deposits, detoxify, and smooth skin.
