Color Weaving

Color Weaving
New hair color techniques are called, highlights, lowlights, paneling, shading, weaving, caramalizing, etc. Hair color is the new fashion accessory. It is more than a gray hair cover-up. Hair color today is used to lighten, brighten, show off the lines of a haircut and most of all, for fun. Select shades of color are carefully and artfully placed to produce beautiful hair color. Look around and you will see highlighted hair in many, many forms.

Light blonde, strawberry blonde and brown create these moving panels of color.

Strategically placed medium and large sized strands of gold and red accent the lines of these trendy haircuts.

Panels of color are stunning in straight hair. However, medium strands of blonde are used to show off the curls in this updo.

Application of hair color varies with each individual. The size of each hair strand and number of color strands or panels will depend upon the desired effect and the thickness of your hair. Hair that is thin will require less added hair color to produce big effects.
