Conures can make wonderful pets. The smaller conures are nowhere near as noisy as the larger birds and can be considered apartment pets. If you are thinking of one of the larger conures, I hope you do not live in an apartment. The larger conures can be very noisy.

All conures can be very sweet birds and generally get along well with everyone in the family. They love to play with toys and love time outside their cages to play and/or fly. Since they are very active birds, you will need a large cage. As always, please choose the largest cage that you can afford and that will fit in your home, instead of the minimum size recommended for any particular species.
