Here are some pet bird related book reviews that I have done.

O´Connor An African Grey Parrot Named Bella  A review of the Book “They Called Me Beautiful” the story of Beautiful Joe by Marshall Saunders – revised and illustrated by Claire Starr. Book Review - African Gray Parrots  A review of the book African Gray Parrots by Annette Wolter Book Review - An Owner’s Guide to a Happy Healthy Pet Parrot  Arthur Freud has written an informative book that gives basic information about parrots as pets. Book Review - Lovebirds  A New Owner´s Buide to Lovebirds by Nikki Moustaki. I could see many of my own Lovebirds in one sentence in the chapter titled Characteristics of a Lovebird. Book Review – Parrots in Aviculture  This book is an excellent reference book to keep and to look at whenever you want information on any type of parrot kept in aviculture. Communication With All Life - Review  The idea of communication with animals is still foreign to many of us. Finches For Dummies - Review  If you are thinking of adding a finch to your home, you will find a lot of great information in the book. For The Love of GREYS by Bobbi Brinker - Book Review  Bobbi Brinker first wrote this book and self published it as a paperback, spiral bound book in 1999. The new book has a wonderful colour cover, some additions and corrections and is now published by Lucky Press. This should ensure that more people will have the opportunity to pu Frugal Parrot Toys - Book Review  A book on CD by J. Kaye Oldner giving detailed instructions with pictures, showing how to make 50 bird toys. Guide To Companion Parrot Behavior - Book Review  by Mattie Sue Athan
Companion parrots range in size from the large Hyacinth Macaw to the tiny Parrotlet. In between this size range are numerous birds with more numerous personality traits. Guide to Parrots and Macaws by David Alderton  Book review on this guide to keeping and breeding various parrots. Lovebirds by Julie Mancini - Review  The book starts off with some great information about these entertaining little birds. Parakeets for Dummies - Book Review  The author, Nikki Moustaki is very knowlegable about these wonderful birds. Parrot, by Paul Carter - Book Review  This book is not a typical bird care book or even a story about a bird. It is a very in-depth book that goes back into the history of parrots in literature, arts and as pets and continues on to the present day and beyond. Polly Wants a Poem! - Review  Polly Wants a Poem is a read-aloud picture book for your parrot. It is along the line of a children´s book, but designed with parrots in mind. Teaching Your Bird to Talk - Book Review  by Diane Grindol and Tom Roudybush, M.S. - these two authors have teamed up to write this book. The Click That Does The Trick - book review  There are several books out on clicker training dogs, but The Click That Does The Trick by Robin Deutsch give instructions and ideas for clicker training birds.
The Complete Pet Bird Owner’s Handbook - Book Review  This book is written by Gary A. Gallerstein D.V.M. with chapters by Julie Rach, Pat Mulloy R.V.T, Charisse Davidson D.V.M, Stacy Stephens D.V.M and with illustrations by Nicole Perretta. The Healthy Bird Cookbook by Robin Deutsch - Book Review  Robin Deutsch is a bird owner and a bird trainer. She began cooking for her birds back when it was acceptable and common to feed a seed only diet to pet birds. The Large Macaws - Their Care, Breeding and Conservation  Although three people are listed as being the authors of this book, the impressive list of contributors as photographers, design, consultants, collaborators and acknowledgments goes on for three full pages. The Parrot Problem Solver - Book Review  By Barbara Heidenreich. There is no doubt about it – parrots are very complex. It seems that the more you learn about them, the more you realize that you don´t know. The Parrot Who Thought She Was a Dog  a review of the book written by Nancy Ellis-Bell Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill - Book Review  Mark Bittner has written this story about his life and how his life changed when he began to show an interest in some wild conures in San Francisco.
