More Natural Body ScrubsLearning to create your own special body scrub is fun. Making your own body scrub also gives you complete control over the ingredients used. Avoid those nasty chemicals and synthetics by using products straight out of your kitchen or refrigerator. This is also a great opportunity to save money and go organically beautiful and natural. The previous article was a primer, here are more easy to make body scrubs to exfoliate and beautify the entire body. Remember to always check for sensitivity by testing a small square of skin on the arm. Check out the following natural body scrub recipes. Honey Almond Body Scrub 2 Tbsp. Almonds 2 Tsp. Milk ½ Tsp. Flour ½ Tsp. Honey Take the almonds and grind up in a blender. Add the milk, flour, and honey to the almonds. Mix well until a paste is formed. Rub the paste onto the body. Rinse in a tub of water or under a warm shower. Pat skin dry with towel and smooth on your favorite moisturizer. Milky Body Scrub 1/4 Cup Sugar 2 Tablespoons Light Vegetable Oil 2 Tablespoons Milk Take the ingredients and mix together in a bowl. Stir and mix until smooth and creamy. To use, massage the mixture all over the body. Mixture removes dry, flaky skin and smooths skin. Rinse skin with warm water and moisturize. Milk and Honey Oatmeal Scrub 2 Teaspoons Powdered Milk 2 Teaspoons Ground Up Oatmeal 2 Teaspoons Honey 1 Teaspoon Vitamin E Oil Few Drops Vanilla Essential Oil Take the oatmeal and vitamin E and blend together in a blender. Add the powdered whole milk, honey, and essential oil. Continue to mix in blender for 10 seconds. To use mix and add warm water to make a paste. Rub the mixture over skin. Rinse skin with warm water. Add moisturizers to skin afterwards. Cornmeal Body Scrub ½ Cup Corn Meal Water Few Drops Vegetable Oil Take the cornmeal and mix with a few drops of water and vegetable oil. Massage the mixture over hands, arms, legs, body, in a firm and circular motion with fingers or a body brush. Let the mixture stay on top of the skin for several minutes then rinse off in cool water. This body scrub revitalizes the skin, improves circulation, and smooths skin surface. Remember to moisturize skin afterwards. Make the body scrubs a regular part of your overall body care and beauty routine for great looking skin.
