African Grey Parrots are amazing pets to have. The Timneh or TAG can be a little more outgoing than the dignified Congo or CAG, but both are great pets. Although most African Grey Parrots will talk, not all of them do so. Some would much rather whistle or make sound effects that could fool you into answering the phone or the door, or make you go into the kitchen to see why the microwave timer just went off.
