This Asian type salad dressing is very good over iceberg lettuce. The lettuce stands up to the bold flavor. Also delicious over radiccio lettuce.
1 tbspn balsamic vinegar
2 tbspn rice wine vinegar**
1 1/2 tbspn light soy sauce
1/4 tspn sesame oil
1 clove garlic, finely minced
1/2 tspn minced fresh ginger
1/2 tspn dried rosemary
Small pinch of chili flakes
Fresh cracked black pepper to taste
Blend ingredients. Pour into a jar with cover and shake until emulsified.
**If serving over radicco lettuce which has a slightly bitter peppery taste, use Nakano Seasoned Rice Vinegar (original flavor).
*Dressing can be used as a marinade for chicken, pork or beef.
