The 2005 Sundance Film Festival started this last weekend and who better to cover it than the Sundance Channel.

Starting tonight, January 24, the network will air a nightly recap show called Festival Dailies. Produced onsite at the festival in Park City, Utah, the show will report on the films and filmmakers making news.

Actor/comedian Jay Mohr, currently getting screentime in the recently released movie, Are We There Yet?, will be handling hosting duties. Though best known for hosting the reality show, Last Comic Standing, Mohr has appeared in a number of projects that have been shown at Sundance.

From January 24-28 at 9:00pm, Festival Dailies airs as a half-hour program. The last show, which airs on January 29th at 9:00pm, will be an hour wrap-up that will include an announcement of the 2005 Festival winners.
