For those of you who are faithfully entering all of the online contests out there on the web, I wanted to give you a great tip on how to make your work more efficient, enjoyable and effective.
It can be very tedious, filling in form after form at each website, especially if you are entering for more than one member of your household. I have found a wonderful helper that reduces my entry time by about 75% and doesn’t even want payback for the prizes I win using it! It is called RoboForm, but there are many more automatic form filler systems you can use.
RoboForm is a web form filler and it also keeps your passwords absolutely safe. Now whether or not you want to trust anything today to protect your passwords, is an independent decision everyone has to make. RoboForm has the ability to automatically fill in your entry forms with just one click of a button.
You can download a free version by going to http://www.roboform.com, but the free download does have limitations. The full system will hold many identities, but with the free download, you can only enter two identities. Identities means it will retain information on you that is normally asked for on a standard entry form such as: Name, address, phone number, cell number, date of birth, etc. It also can retain more information, but I am leery of putting too much information about myself on anything web-related.
So if you are looking for ways to save time, I suggest you look into some of the automatic form fillers you can find on the web.
For those who use a Mozilla browser, it has a built-in form manager. To initiate the form manager, go to your Tools menu and select Form Manager>Edit Form Info and just follow the directions.
If you have Internet Explorer 6, go to the Tools menu and select Internet Options, click Content tab, AutoComplete button and then follow the instructions from there.
If you have Internet Explorer 7, click the Tools icon, select Internet Options, click Content tab, under Autocomplete click the settings button and follow the instructions from there.
