DIY Animated Video Creators

DIY Animated Video Creators
In the previous article, we explored online DIY animated video creators and took a look at two of them; GoAnimate and Animoto. Let's continue with seven other options for creating your animated videos with cloud based online editors. These options feature a free plan instead of just a free trial. This is great for the novice, who could use up the free 14 days just getting familiar with the software and process.

Animaker has a free plan, instead of a free trial. This free plan is limited, but includes unlimited videos with a maximum length of 2 minutes and a maximum number of exports of 5 per month. You are also limited to the SD resolution quality and sharing to YouTube. These videos are branded for Animaker and there are some good help video tutorials.

Moovly has a free plan with unlimited videos and a maximum of 10 minutes each. You can export at the SD resolution to Facebook and YouTube. You can use assets from only two libraries, have a limited storage of 100 MB/20 items and a limited upload of your own assets.

Rawshorts has a free plan which allows for uploading your own assets, 8 asset libraries and 25 MB storage. You can export at the 480p resolution to YouTube with the Rawshorts branding included.

Animatron is slightly different. With the online creator, you can create animated HTML 5 banners as well as video and animations. You can export to HTML 5, SD video, animated gifs and svg/svg + smil. They offer a free account with a limit of 5 projects, 2 GB of storage and 50 GB bandwidth per month. You can upload your own assets and use the system's assets.

Biteable is one place that offers unlimited HD quality video with their free plan. You can start with one of their pre-made stylish templates, add your own content and add some of the Biteable assets.

Pow Toon
Pow Toon has a free account with a limit of 100 MB storage and 5 minutes SD resolution export. You can't download but you can export to video, PDF and PPT. You also have access to a limited number of music, objects and style templates.

When you visit these sites, don't forget to check out any video tutorials to get you started and video galleries for inspiration.
