Included are rolled cookies, scooped or dropped cookies, bar cookies, slice and bake cookies, and shaped cookies. The instructions are precise and easy to follow. Most of the ingredients are easy-to-find. In the introductory pages, Sally has included a primer on ingredients, tips on successful cooking baking, and general advice to make cooking baking an enjoyable experience.

There is enough variety to keep bakers busy for months, along with hints on freezing and storing the finished products. And, there is a beautiful picture of each recipe, which is an essential part of any really good cookbook.

All told, this is an excellent cookbook for cookie lovers, and would make a great gift for a new bride or for anyone who loves to bake.
