A Resolution That Can't Be Broken

A Resolution That Can't Be Broken
What if you could make a resolution and not actually break it! That's right a resolution that couldn't be broken. What if this same resolution could change your life as you know it and your families life to? And, what if you could share this same resolution with your daughter and guarantee instant change? Check out three resolutions that will change your life. As well as the secret that will guarantee that you keep it.

The secret to keeping a resolution is to have joint effort. What better way to ensure that your daughter sticks to her commitment to herself then to make it a family affair. A big part of a resolution should include follow-thru steps. This increases the commitment of resolutions. Check out tips that can help the whole family work together for the greater good. And guarantee the ultimate commitment.

The first resolution is to encourage your daughter to spend more time with the family. As a parent the other half of this resolution is that you should also make time at least once a week for some quality family time. Of course daily time is preferred but will settle for less. Have more family dinners, and family night at least once a week. This can include game night, movie night and walks together after dinner (my all time favorite). The connections that you make together will improve on life skills for the whole family beyond your imagination.

Another great resolution is to encourage your daughter to make time for creativity, and relaxation. Sometimes children can get overwhelmed with their many activities and schedules as well as the decisions made for them. Your daughter needs the opportunity to play, choose her own activities and make her own mistakes. It is also crucial for you as the parent to make time for relaxation, quiet time and alone time. Caring for yourself is a big part of your daughter’s growth. Your mental and physical well being as well as your happiness will ultimately create a healthy environment for the whole family.

My final resolution recommendation for your daughter is one of my favorites and that is better food choices. Encourage your daughter to eat healthier. As a parent your joint effort in this resolution is to prepare healthier meals. Give your family a healthier diet. Cut back on sweetened beverages, add more fruits and vegetables and limit junk and fast food items. The whole family can benefit from healthier eating habits.

A resolution should be a resolution that can better yourself and the people around you. It should create a healthy over all environment for everyone. In the end this will encourage healthy habits, bonding opportunities and relaxation for the whole family. These resolutions are resolutions that won’t allow you to break them. Especially after you see the result! Don’t forget to enjoy the best part – the joint effort! Enjoy being happier and healthier. A family that is healthy and happy will make a great impact on the world. Which is exactly what the world needs more of.
