Beautiful Websites for Artists

When you went to art school did you take the course on how to create a website so attractive that buyers and galleries would ring your phone to view and purchase your work? If so, congratulations! If not, congratulations to you too, because now there’s a company that designs websites with the artist in mind. I thought it was all the same; creating good art equals creating a good website. So I marched right down to my office supply store and picked up a do-it-yourself website kit.

I was pretty proud of myself.

While I accomplished my goal of getting a website up and running, I missed the mark on producing a site that displayed my art in the best possible light. This is a challenge for many artists. Creating art work that is vibrant and alive is driven by passion and can come easily. It’s the marketing and selling part that is a little tougher.

Josse Ford of Beautiful Websites for Artist explains, “With so many artists competing for the same gallery space, it’s harder for artists to display and expose their work to a larger audience.”

Beautiful Websites for Artist knows how to design attractive websites because they are technological and artistic experts; this is the best possible combination of credentials to help the emerging artist. Here's a web development company that knows the art scene and understands what it takes to create a presence. They will help you present your portfolio in a manner that you can be proud of. The cost is reasonable for customized work, no look-a-like templates! Here’s even more good news: they provide tips on marketing your site and on how to set up a blog that will allow you to make a greater connection with your customers.

Many artists hold back on sending potential buyers and galleries to their sites because they don’t have a presentation that they are proud of—now there’s help from a company who knows and most importantly cares that you look great and stand out above the ordinary.

After spending time chatting with the delightful Josse Ford, owner of this fast growing company, it was clear to me that she is someone that artists should meet. Her friendly, unpretentious tone and caring manner makes it easy to talk about your needs and goals for your site. No pushy sales pitch, and it's evident that the designer knows her stuff. It was nice to speak to a real voice, instead of an automatic point and click service, and a thousand times better than my web in a box experience.

By the way—I’m taking the plunge and having Beautiful Websites for Artist give my do-it-yourself website a makeover! I’ll let you know when it’s ready for the grand re-launching!
