Kid Friendly Football Recipes

Back to school time also means back to…football! Come game time, you can include the entire family with these kid friendly recipes.

Touchdown Tacos Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • Ground beef

  • Shredded cheese ( your favorite flavor or flavors)

  • Canned diced tomatoes

  • Pre-packaged shredded lettuce

  • Sour cream

  • Salsa

  • Taco shells and/or flour tortillas


Directions:
  1. Brown ground beef in pan.

  2. Warm taco shells and flour tortillas in the oven at 325 degrees for 5-
    10 minutes.

  3. Create an assembly line of ingredients by placing each ingredient in a bowl or on a plate. You can also simply leave each ingredient in the original
    package.

  4. Each person can then create his or her own taco delight!


Playoff Potato Skins Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 large sack of potatoes

  • Your favorite shredded cheese or shredded cheese blend

  • Sour cream

  • Bacon bits or slices of turkey bacon cooked and crumbed

  • Green onions, chopped


Directions:
  1. Bake potatoes in a 400 degree oven for 45 minutes, or until soft throughout.

  2. Carefully slice potatoes down the middle.

  3. Scoop out potatoes from skin.

  4. Combine potatoes mixture, sour cream, cheese, and green onions.

  5. Place potato mixture back into skin.

  6. Top with green onions.

  7. Bake for an additional 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted.


Super Bowl Seven Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • Ground beef, turkey, or chicken

  • Chopped fresh tomatoes or diced can tomatoes

  • Sour cream

  • Green onions

  • Canned baked beans

  • Lettuce

  • Shredded cheddar cheese (or your favorite cheese blend)


Directions:
  1. Brown ground beef (or chicken or turkey) in a pan.

  2. Layer the following ingredients in order:

    a. Beans

    b. Lettuce

    c. Tomatoes

    d. Sour Cream

    e. Ground beef

    f. Cheese

    g. Green onions

  3. Serve with your favorite chips.


Quarterback Crunch Bowl Recipe:

Ingredients:
  • 1 large bag of pretzels

  • 1 large bag of nuts

  • 1 large bag of M n M’s


Directions:
  1. Simply mix all ingredients in a large bowl and enjoy!
