Dd's Table Talk

Dd's Table Talk is a cookbook of 788 recipes that include the wonderful flavors commonly found in Japan, China, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, Greece, and the Philippines. These foods are frequently favorites in the beautiful islands of Hawaii and you'll love the wide selection!

The book is a brightly padded 3-ring binder type indexed book so that it will lay flat when you are preparing a dish. Deirdre Kieko Todd was born and raised in the islands and grew up with a passion for foods and she shares this collection of recipes with a flair. It is divided into several handy sections including:

Appetizers & Beverages
Soups, Sauces & Vegetables
Main Dishes & Casseroles
Meat, Poultry & Seafood
Breads & Rolls
Pies, Pastry & Desserts
Cakes, Cookies & Candy
This & That
and an index.
Plus you'll find a handy section in the back with cooking tips, charts, tips, guides and more!

You'll find a lot of helpful hints and tips throughout the book on each index page and delicious recipes galore. She has included cooking techniques for Won Ton/Gau Gee as well.

Some of the recipes offered include: Kamaboko Puffs, Thai Salsa, Miso Dressing, Roasted Asparagus with Potatoes, Chicken Penne Florentine, Classic Basil Pesto, German-Style Meatball Casserole, Grilled Shrimp Sate, Lamb Stroganoff, Peanut Monkey Bread, Haupia Delight, Pina Colada Cake, Furikake Chex Mix I & II (one of my favorites!) and so many more!

Check out Dd's Table Talk at www.booklineshawaii.com and see this great cookbook! It's one I'll be using over and over!
