I have been a fan of science fiction and fantasy all my life. I started going to see these movies with my SF/Fantasy mad father back in the early fifties and was always in my seat for first runs of Star Trek on TV, Star Wars and Lord of the Rings in cinemas, and over the years, have enjoyed attending conventions and writing for fanzines. I'm a grandma now, but my enthusiasm for other worlds hasn't waned; it's grown to encompass manga, anime and games, and the things my grandkids are into.
