Positive Affirmations In every part of your life up to this point, you have created your own reality. You will continue to create your own reality as you progress into the future for however long that may be. I believe this to be one of the absolute rules in life; and, therefore, I believe that you create your own destiny. Whether you have consciously or subconsciously accepted the beliefs that you now judge your current life to be, it has been your decision to accept them as fact. When you are bowling and you think negative thoughts, you will perform negatively; and, when you think positive thoughts, you will perform positively. This is why the subject of, "Positive Affirmations," is always brought up in any instructor or coaching class or seminar. This is also why I always bring it up to my students and emphasize for them to get in the practice of writing down their positive thoughts and keep repeating it to themselves. In order for you to perform well, you must keep positive thoughts in your mind at all times. Have you ever seen an athlete win a competition by constantly being down on themselves? Here's my "Choc-List" of the top five "best" Positive Affirmations for me: 1) I am a winner because I respect myself and think only positive thoughts. 2) I am confident I am doing things smoothly and with perfect timing. 3) I don't have to think about every movement in my delivery or release, right now, it's only me and my mark. 4) I am self-confident, in control, and know I always give my best effort. 5) I always remain calm, don't let little things bug me, and will prevail in the end. Start your own list. Carry a book around to write them in and also for you to refer to them regularly. Positive Affirmations will help you keep thinking positive thoughts. "There is a thinking stuff from which all things are made, and which, in its original state, permeates, penetrates, and fills the interspaces of the universe. A thought in this substance produces the thing that is imaged by the thought. A person can form things in his thought, and, by impressing his thought upon this formless substance, can cause the thing he thinks about to be created." --Wallace B. Wattles, The Science of Getting Rich, 1910-- A Hui Hou! (See You Again!)
