Baked Apples Recipe

Be sure to make extras and freeze. You can use frozen or fresh. However, with the frozen do not thaw!! If you don't like walnuts, pick out another soft nut, like pecans. Also, use rasperries since they will be in season.

2 Medium Apples Cored
1/4 CUP sliced strawberries
1/4 Cup blueberries
2 TBSP chopped walnuts
2 TBSP Sugar free pancake style Syrup
cinnamon, nutmeg, mace, ginger,allspice


1. Place Cored apples in a cake pan lined with Tin Foil. Should be enough tin file to cover the apples as the cook.
2. In a bowl combine all the other ingredients and stuff the cored apples.
3. If there is any of the mixture left place in pan with apples
4. Cover apples and seal.
5, Cook apples on 350 Degrees until soft approx 45 - 1 hour depending on oven.


This would be 1.5 Fruit choice (depends on size of apple) and 1 fat choice.

Serve as is or with 1/2 cup Unsweetened Low fat Yogurt (1 Milk choice). If you dare 1/2 cup Low Fat No sugar Vanilla Ice cream (.5 Milk, .5 Fat .5 Carb depending on make.
