Power Soft assures that Free Notes is totally safe, and doesn't contain any form of spyware, ads, or adware. I test every product I review, and I can reasonably say that I have not noticed any unusual activity since downloading version 3.01. The initial download will install Free Notes in both your program files and startup menu. A check box accessible through the icon allows you prevent Free Notes from starting automatically when Windows starts.
