Passion. It’s more than just a word, there are a lot of people who have made it an absolute necessity to make their business and life work. For them passion is a life driving fuel. Those who make passion a pre-requisite to growing a thriving company are leaving their mark on the business world. They are leading a revolution. Going back to meaning, significance and inspiration vs. the endless hunt for fame, fortune other fancy things.
Perhaps they are just saying and acting on what everyone already knows, that passion is the secret weapon to growing a successful business. If you don’t love it, you’re less likely to put your all into it. You’re less likely to keep going against all odds. And believe me, there will always to something that presses against the pearly white dream of success.
I recently read about Andrew Harrison, he quit his high paying dream job in sales to hit the road in search of true passion and inspiration. His goal is to interview people in various positions around the country about what it means to have work that they are passionate about. Andrew was determined to find out the secret of those who live fulfilling, passionate lives.
His cross-country journey has led him to have conversations with a dressmaker, lawyer, filmmaker and even the Commissioner of Tailgating. Each one shares their story of work that includes passion and inspiration.
According to the newly released Worthwhile magazine “Increasingly, people want a heart and soul connection to their careers—and if we don’t get it in corporate America, we’ll create it ourselves.” That’s the beautiful thing about the quest for passion. Each person can create a life that includes an abundance of it!
If the thought of being a part of the passion revolution stirs your heart then get on board, live and work with passion and inspire those around you to do the same.
