HBO Latino Presents Campaign

The Hispanic population in the United States is growing, and so is the Hispanic programming on TV. HBO Latino® announces its “No Es Lo Mismo” campaign, featuring a lineup of entertaining programs for Hispanic Heritage Month that offers exclusive original and acquired programming, as well as the best of HBO® to the Latino Spanish-speaking audience.

Anchored by new specials, new seasons of favorite Spanish-language original series and first-run films, the lineup is set to capture the imagination of cross-cultural audiences with its telling Latino portraits and different perspectives. HBO On Demand will also feature HBO Latino programming from across multiple areas in a “Category” on the front page, “Descubre HBO Latino,” with all HBO Latino content cross-categorized throughout HBO On Demand as well.

In addition, consumers can now check out the latest news and updates, share favorite moments, get sneak peeks, view compelling video content and more, all in Spanish, by following HBO Latino on Facebook.

Featured programs include:
Celebrity Habla 2
See what celebrity Latinos in the arts, sports, fashion and music have to say about being Latino in the U.S., in this newest installment of the award-winning HBO Latino series Habla. The special spotlights well-known personalities including Luis Guzmán, Roselyn Sanchez, Daisy Fuentes, Walter Mercado, Ana de la Reguera, Rubén Blades, Moctesuma Esparza, Sonia Manzano, Paquito D’Rivera, Bernie Williams, Isabel and Ruben Toledo and more. Celebrity Habla 2 debuts Sept. 17.

Hijos del Carnaval Season 2
The acclaimed original drama series from HBO Latin America continues to follow the family of Anésio Gebara, a samba school owner and the bankroll behind an illegal lottery in Rio de Janeiro. Season 2, premiering exclusively on HBO Latino on Sept. 17, begins as discord and fighting increases among Gebara’s sons. HBO On Demand will also feature the series as a “see it first,” allowing consumers to watch new episodes the Monday prior to their Friday air date on HBO Latino.

Estrenos Latinos
These acclaimed films, whose origins are Latin America, Spain and North America, are making their U.S. television debut, only on HBO Latino – Don’t Let Me Drown (Sept. 17) and La Ultima Y Nos Vamos (Sept. 24). Coming in October are Malta Con Huevo and Entre Nos.

Esta Noche Big Band Nuñez
With a 40’s and 50’s style staging, Dominican artist Pavel Nuñez presents his big band of 30 musicians and friends in an exclusive concert that is sure to get people singing and dancing in their living rooms. The music special debuts in October.

El Perro y El Gato: From Here to There
