Frank Miller's Sin City
Guest Author - Lisa Shea

Sin City is in essence a movie version of a powerful comic series. Here are the mistakes spotted in the story.

The continuity team apparently had a ton of trouble on this movie. One of the clearest issues is with the scar on Hartigan's head. Sometimes it's sort of shaped like a plus, while other times it's more like a starfish.

Hartigan's head has miraculous healing properties. Before he goes to jail, he has a long rip in his right cheek. It just vanishes later.

Gail has a different issue. She has a pair of normal earrings and ones that are clip-ons that she apparently switches to when she knows a fight is coming up, so she doesn't hurt her ears. You can see the real ear holes beneath the clip ons in those situations.

Nancy has magic gloves when she's dancing - they can turn invisible at will.
