Green Beans with Almonds RecipeGreen Beans with Almonds Yield: 5 servings 1 lb frozen French-cut green beans 1 Tbsp margarine or butter 3 Tbsp sliced almonds 1/2 tsp dried dill 1/4 tsp salt substitute Cook the green beans according to package directions just until tender. Drain off the excess liquid. Place the margarine or butter in a large nonstick skillet and melt over medium heat. Add the almonds and saute for about 1 minute, or just until they begin to turn color (be careful not to burn them). Add the green beans, dill, and salt to the almonds and toss to mix. Serve hot.
