Homeschooling in Idaho

The best way to protect your family is to know your law better than the school officials!

Idaho is considered to be a LOW regulation state. Homeschooling families in Idaho have one option available to legally educate their children at home.

Option #1 - Provide an education for the child that is "comparably instructed" (similar to the public school)
Your child's attendance and subjects taught must be the same as that of the locally zoned public school.
There are not further restrictions, no record-keeping requirements, no notice of intent to be sent, no evaluations, no testing needed.
