'Queer As Folk' Star Gale Harold Returns To Television
Guest Author - Michelle Snow

On Showtime's now-defunct hit series, "Queer As Folk," actor Gale Harold played the fast living Brian Kinney. In the role, he pushed extremes in what had been shown on television.

It was announced this week that Harold has been cast in the role of the legendary Wyatt Earp in the upcoming third season of HBO's hit show, "Deadwood."

The role is listed as "recurring", meaning Harold probably won't be in every episode, but since Earp is a central figure of the wild west era, I expect the character will play an integral part of a major storyline.

If you can't wait for the new season of "Deadwood" to see Harold on screen, he has also recently filmed a guest shot on the upcoming CBS mid-season series, "The Unit."
