Scrapbooking Classes
Do you consider yourself an advanced and experienced scrapbooker that doesn't need to take scrapbook classes? Scrapbook classes are often crawling with new scrapbookers but the advanced scrapbookers overlook the power that taking a scrapbook class can add to their layouts!
I have been a scrapbooker for over 10 years. My best friend and I were scrapbooking back in high school. I have been teaching scrapbooking classes for the past 5 years. However, I continue to take scrapbook classes whenever I can! Why? Because I ALWAYS learn something new. Dr's, Teachers and nearly every profession continue their education by brushing up with classes and seminars....why shouldn't scrapbookers and crafters?
I have went to scrapbook classes, looked at the example and thought...oh my goodness what am I doing here, I could be teaching this class! An hour later I have completed the project and learned some new things! I can honestly say that each class I have attended I have learned something. Sometimes things that change the way I scrapbook forever!
I would like to encourage you to take a scrapbook class! There is no better way to get a little pizzaz into your layouts than to get some fresh ideas and techniques!
Decide what you want to learn or brush up on. Is there something that you have been wanting to try? Does including more journaling on your layouts and learning the best way to tell the stories of your photos interest you? Do you find yourself using the same techniques? Are there products that you haven't used before?
Expand your horizons, explore fun new techniques and try something completely different from your normal style. Even if you think you won’t like it! I guarantee you will walk away having learned some new tricks and ways to use products that you would have never thought of on your own!
Whether your pages are basic and you only use cardstock or you love patterned paper and embellishments, there’s always a new technique out there to learn.
So no matter what level of scrapbooker you consider yourself – beginner to advanced....there is much to be learned by taking scrapbooking classes!
