Baby shower games that rely on a quick memory can be a fun way to encourage guests to laugh together at the party.

Baby Stuff Tray Memory Game
This game requires preparation by the baby shower hostess ahead of time. Get a dinner tray or cookie sheet - some people like to use a high chair tray - and arrange several baby items on it. These can be things that you'll give to the mother after the baby shower. Common items include:

Give all the guests a sheet of paper and a pen. Make sure everyone is seated and ready to go, then walk around the room and slowly show everyone the tray for just a moment. Hide it away in another room or under the table or something. Everyone should write down as many of the items from the tray as they can remember in one minute. When the time is up, the person who wrote down the most correct answers is the winner.

Another variation of this game is to arrange everything on a clothesline. Pin all the items onto a length of rope and then instead of walking around to show the guests a tray, just have two people lift the length of rope. They can hold the rope up and then after 30-90 seconds, lower it back down again.

Baby Song Recall
Another great baby shower game is to give guests a set time (one or two minutes is good), to write down every song they can think of with "baby" in the title. 'Santa Baby' to 'Rock-a-Bye Baby' are all good answers. Have the mother-to-be read her list of songs as the "master list". As she reads her list, guests can mark any songs they share in common with the mother-to-be. Whoever has the most songs in common, wins!
