Home Made Valentine Day Bath Salts


Home made gifts are appreciated by most recipients. And crafting a unique holiday gift is easy and fun. This idea is fun and I've tried it several times over the last few years with great results. So, this Valentine's Day treat yourself and those important to you to a unique home made Valentine Day Bath Salts Blend. Bath Salts are the wonderful, healthy, and restorative gift that keeps on giving to the receiver. Making a unique bath blend is easy and sure to be appreciated by the recipient. This Valentine's Day take a little time to make this Sugar and Spice Bath Salts, Heavenly Delight Bath Salts Blend. Or my favorite the Peppermint Fizz Bath Salts! First, gather together the ingredients needed to make the Valentine's Day Bath Salts Gift.

Ingredients/Items Bath Salts Recipe

Cellophane Bags or plastic baggies
Red, Pink, Ribbons to tie around Cellophane Bag
Selection Gift Tags
Baking Soda
Epsom Salts
Sea Salt
Ground Cinnamon
Ground Ginger
Vanilla Essential Oils
Peppermint Essential Oils
Other Favorite Essential Oils
Tin box (available at most dollar stores)

Sugar And Spice Delight Bath Salts

1/2 cup baking soda
2 Tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
Cellophane Bags or baggies
Ribbons
Gift Tags

Take a bowl and mix together the baking soda, sugar, cinnamon, ginger, cloves. Pour the mix into a cellophane bag. Wrap a pretty pink or red bow around the bag and tie. Add a gift tag to the bow. Place the cellophane bag/plastic baggies with the bath salts into a heart shaped tin box. (I've used left over heart shaped tin candy boxes to place the bath salts in and they work great. Just make sure the reused box is clean!)

Heavenly Delight Bath Salts

1/2 cup Epsom Salt
1 teaspoon Sea Salt
1/2 cup baking soda
3 or 4 drops Jasmine Essential Oils
3 or 4 drips Ylang Ylang Essential Oils
3 or 4 drops Patchouli Essential Oils
Cellophane Bag or baggies
Ribbons
Gift Tags

Add the Epsom salts, sea salts, baking soda, and essential oils to a bowl and mix well. Pour into cellophane bags, wrap with a colorful ribbon, add a gift tag. Place the cellophane bag/baggies with the bath salts into a heart shaped tin box.

Peppermint Fizz Bath Salts

3 tablespoons Sea Salt
3 tablespoons Baking Soda
1 tablespoon Citric Acid
7 or 8 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
Cellophane Bag
Ribbons
Gift Tags


Mix ingredients together in a bowl.Pour into cellophane bags, wrap with a colorful ribbon, add a gift tag. Place the cellophane bag/baggies with the bath salts into a heart shaped tin box. All the bath salts featured here make excellent last moment Home Made Valentine's Day Gift. To use the home made bath salts simply add to tub of running water and ENJOY! You might want to add a personal note with this message tucked under the bath salts or write on the gift card with a decorative felt pen.
