Halo 3 has many different types of games available on its online multiplayer system. It provides months of gaming fun! Here is a list of the game types and how to win each one.

Assault
Assault is a team game that involves a bomb. You try to track down and grab the bomb, and bring it to the enemy's base. An arrow helps to guide the way. Getting it there is only half the battle. Once it's there, a countdown begins. You can see the countdown by looking at the bomb. This gives the opposing team time to deactivate the bomb. Once the bomb finally goes off, your team gets a point. The point score is shown at the bottom right of the screen.

There are variants of assault where there are multiple bombs and other options.

Slayer
Slayer is a deathmatch type of game. Everybody is trying to kill everyone else. There is a "team slayer" option where your aim is to kill only members on the opposite team. To see what color YOU are, look down at your feet. Your teammates have their IDs above their name in blue, so you can also use that technique to figure out what color you are. If an enemy is within view, their name will show up over thier head in red.
