The Princess of Swords - New Terra Tarot Deck Card

Terra Tarot Deck Feature

This new feature presents an electronic version of my new Terra Tarot Deck, one card at a time. The sixteenth card available for download is The Princess of Swords.

Terra Tarot Deck - The Princess of Swords

The Princess of Swords (called the Page of Swords in some decks) is a very intelligent, insightful, intuitive, aware young woman, who is an articulate speaker who can be brutally honest with those around her, especially those trying to dupe others. Like the Queen, she also is developing composure, and knows how to cut through the confusion to get to the heart of things. She is wise beyond her years, very clever and strong willed. She calls you to look for new ways to do things, and new solutions for the problems that plaque you.

The symbology used in my rendition of the Princess of Swords shows a strong yet sweet young woman, holding her sword in one hand as she gazes at the desert land around her.

Since the theme of this deck is Terra, our Mother Earth, I elected to begin this illustration using a primitive landscape that showcases piercing mountains that also point straight up into the clear blueish purple sky. The foreground consists of a vast sandy desert plain that nicely contrasts the sky with its rich golden tones.

At the top, a decorative Merkaba which represents the metaphysical spirit "vehicle" that becomes activated as we balance our chakras, meridians, and lifeforce brings hope floats above the Princess. At the bottom, lies the elemental Air symbol to the left, and the Male gender symbol, since the Swords are considered to be masculine in nature. Behind the princess, a mystical altar shines, representing the essence of the swords, and the deep mystery of life.

I am presenting an online version of the Terra Deck for our Bella readers. Just click on the banner below to download your copy of the Princess of Swords. Right click on the image that comes up and save to your selected folder.
