Some of the most beautiful, fascinating and awesome places in the country can be found in the Southeastern United States.

Florida, The Carolinas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Arkansas, Tennessee, Kentucky and Virginia have everything from gorgeous white sandy beaches to snow topped mountains, from urban metropolis to small towns with big porches where people still drink iced tea while chatting with passersby. The southeast has a vast array of cultures from Native American to French which is shown in local art, language, and cuisine.

While my family is native to the Carolinas I have traveled extensively throughout the United States and the world but I have found that nothing compares to the beauty of the Southeast; the kindness of its people, and the varied cultures to explore. Interesting architecture and art, fascinating history and an exciting future can be found in every state.

You could take a lifetime traveling the Southeast United States and you would still not discover all that they have to give. Go skiing in North Carolina, go whale watching at Virginia Beach, meet Mikey in Florida or experience the unexpected at Myrtle Beach in South Carolina. View the majestic Smokey Mountains, even get married (or remarried) by a creek in Pigeon Forge Tennessee. Ride a jet ski in Brunswick Isle, Georgia or go white water rafting in the Ozarks of Arkansas. Fun, rest, and adventure await you in the Southeast USA.
