Shrimp and Snow Peas Recipe

Need a carb friendly recipe for a party? This is a fast and easy recipe to follow and eat. You can prepare food ahead of time and then assemble later.

Pair with a fresh veggie tray and dip and be a success at your own party.


Shrimp and Show Pea Tidbits

Yield: 4 to 6 servings or makes 16 hors d'oeuvres


16 snow peas
2 tsp olive oil
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp red pepper flakes
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley
16 medium shrimp, peeled, deveined, tail left on

Steam or microwave snow peas until barely tendercrisp. If using frozen follow package directions.
Rinse with cold water. Drain and set aside.

In nonstick skillet, heat oil; saute garlic, parsley,red pepper flakes and
shrimp just until shrimp turn pink, 3 to 5 minutes.

Wrap each snow pea around shrimp; fasten with toothpick.
Serve warm or cold.

39 Calories, 1g Carbs, 0g Fiber, 4g Protein,
2g Fat, 27mg Sodium, 28mg Cholesterol
