Double Yellow Head Amazons are one of what is considered the "hot 3" Amazons. The other two are the Yellow Nape Amazon and the Blue Fronted Amazon.

Amazon Parrots are very popular pets. Their beautiful colours, their talking ability, their singing and their ability to adapt to new situations has made them a favourite. Many enthusiasts also refer to their wonderful smell.
