Shrek is a sweet little Green Cheek Conure belonging to Andy Bowler, and I thought this picture of him would make a great jigsaw puzzle for everyone to try. Shrek had been busy playing, but kindly stopped to allow me to snap this photo of him when my local Parrot Club was at a display at Oak Hammock Marsh last spring.

Green Cheek Conures are one of the smaller and quieter Conures. They are friendly and outgoing birds who love attention, but are also content to play on their own. They can learn to talk, but have a very soft talking voice so you really have to listen to hear what they are saying.
