Forbes.com released August 21,2007 its list of the top 40 cities in the country for eligible singles. With no surprise, Los Angeles ranked at #3 in the country. Hollywood is full of beautiful singles, especially celebrities who seem to change relationships like they change their hair color. This year, Hollywood's hottest singles are George Clooney and Cameron Diaz.

As a struggling actor, George Clooney appeared as minor roles on hit shows such as "The Facts of Life" as well as "Roseanne" and "Sisters". Clooney didn't get his big break until he starred in the first seasons of "ER" which pushed him to celebrity status. Since his rise on the small screen, George Clooney has made countless women swoon as an A-list celebrity starring in a number of blockbuster movies. Clooney's most recent film success has come with the 1960's remake of "Ocean's Eleven" followed by the two sequels "Ocean's Twelve" and "Ocean's Thirteen" released this year. Working along side Brad Pitt, Julia Roberts and Matt Damon can't hurt a man's reputation. George Clooney has twice been named at the top of People Magazines "Most Beautiful People" List. Many are not surprised due to his old Hollywood looks and charm.

Cameron Diaz, however, jumped onto Hollywood's radar with a supporting role in 1994's "The Mask" with Jim Carrey. The media has since had a love affair with Diaz with her good-girl image and her silly laugh. Most recently, Diaz has jumped to the top of the A-list actress list being in an elite group of actresses earning $20 million dollars a picture. "Charlie's Angels" and the "Shrek" movies have made Cameron Diaz both a woman that other women want to be and that men want to be with. Diaz is only recently single after her very publicized 3 year relationship with Justin Timberlake of "Nsync" fame. It seemed that Cameron was enjoying her time as a single woman in Hollywood, but over the last few weeks pictures and stories have been popping up all over the internet of Diaz with singer John Mayer. Mayer had a publicized relationship with Jessica Simpson and has now moved on to another wealthy and beautiful Hollywood blonde.

While Cameron Diaz is seeming to jump from one high profile relationship to another with possible wedding bells somewhere in the distant future, George Clooney with most likely remain a self-proclaimed bachelor. There are plenty of women around the country who are perfectly happy for him to remain handsome and single.
